I've had Alltel for about 7 years, they let me use a phone for 72 hrs before I purchased from them, they are fantastic in the service and help when you have a problem with your phone... I used to have Verizon and they stunk, so I switched and have never been sorry... I VERY rarely ever drop a call, and if it does happen I get immediate credit for it

Zero to 2 bars, Only GPRS, no 3G or 4g. Many dropped calls. Have to use WiFi for calls. If you use cell site it sounds like you are under water, been that way for several years, entered complaints, but has never been fixed.

In one part of my house the bars will vary between none and 3. In another part of my house they stay at 3. If the phone has a hair out of place, the call gets fropped, especially whith the bars changing. It drives me nuts and it's embatassing. Looking to get another phone to solve problem. I use the net, so no customer service woes.

Brand new phone - going back to store ! An old Motorola phone was much better - some dropped calls, but at least it worked most of the time in the house.

Ye olde StarTak is both analog and digital... and has no "bars," just perfect reception, even in Arrowhead Mall at Bell Rd. and 83rd. Ave. I've had less than a dozen dropped calls in the EIGHT years I've had the phone. I understand the Motorola V60 has similar strength. I'd like Bluetooth modem capability... but would hate to give up analog signal on trips to CA, in the foothills. My Verizon StarTak has fine signal from Bell Rd. South to I-10 and Avondale / Goodyear on cross-streets like Litchfield (& on Hiwy 303, too).
