The actual zip code I live in is 85388, but this system wouldn't show it as valid. Go figure. Just switched to VW from AT&T thinking it was the service... again. This is the 3rd cell phone provider I have tried, to get any damn service in my house! Apparently it must be my neighborhood area cause when I go to my BF's house, 3.5 miles away, I get perfect service. My BF says the smarter the phone the worst reception you get. I am now beginning to believe him. :(( BTW: I am NOT switching again!

can not get a call complete inside the house, almost always have a lost all and they are very broken up even outside. I had a replacement insurance contract. I have had 3 phones since August and they are refurbished phones so they do not hold up well. They wanted a death certificate to drop a line.

I get about 2-3 bars... ..on verizon, not bad I guess

In or outside my house half of the calls are dropped and the other half have missing words. If I move my head an inch, I lose the call.

I love Verizon I always have good reception, I dont know what phones you ppl have.

Verizon has the worst possible customer service. It doesn't help that I lose tons of calls, get 0 service when driving on Reems around Greenway, and that half the time, I have the phone in my hand WAITING for a call only to hear, beep beep, I have a message! It never even rang! And, at least 4-5 times per day, I will see a missed call that has the "M" icon next to it, meaning I have a message... I check my messages and guess what? "You have no new messages" whatever. I have complained to customer service at least 3 times... I suggested I would rather buy out of my 2 year contract to go somewhere else, could they do something? no was their answer... so I am paying $175 today to get out of my contract and going to another company. Only, based on what I have read here, it sounds like not many people are happy at other companies either. Maybe Alltell sounds like people the happiest there?

Drops calls all the time. Spent 2 hours on the phone with customer server, talked to 6 people until I finally go to someone, who told me I am "in a known, poor coverage area and we have no idea when it will be fixed".

0 to 1 bar. Drops 8 of 10 calls. After 2 hours on customer service, the 6th person I talked too, finally told me I am in a "known poor coverage area" and they have no idea when it will be fixed. Bought a Sprint phone this weekend, which I will be returning shortly. It is EVEN WORSE. No reception to 1 bar. Doesn't ring 99 out of 100 times. Outgoing calls never connect and no data access for email.

Four out of five calls drop after a few seconds. Terrible indoor reception, snotty customer service. Dropped phone and wanted to replace, they wouldnt replace it unless I signed on for another two years-never.

I'm always getting dropped calls. For the most part, I get only 1 bar. No one can tell me where the closest Verizon Cell Tower. One sales person told me Verizon uses most towers regardless who's they are. There is a ? tower 1 1 / 2 miles east of my home and another one 1 1 / 2 miles south. I live in a highly populated area but that does not matter. When driving north on the Loop 303 way out in the country where they are just beginning to build homes, I get 5 full bars. Does that make any sense?

Almost always drops a long call (over 10 minutes). Never have more thans 2 bars. West Valley has few towers, not like in Phoenix or Scottsdale where I get 4 to 5 bars always.

Live two miles from a Verizon tower for 3.5 years, nothing but lousy reception all over Surprise and Northwest Valley with both newer phones. The older Samsung a360 I had (and my parents still use in same area) was much more reliable. Verizon Store customer service is horrible... very rude and condescending on a number of visits. Can't wait for my 2-year contract to expire so I can move on.

We get great reception at home (indoors and out) on what I consider to be an old phone that is about to die. Haven't had any reception problems in the general Phoenix area since we moved here six months ago. Haven't heard of any other carrier that can beat VW's coverage, sadly; since it is time to get a new phone and Verizon's selection of phones is so limited compared to other carriers. But - bottom line- VW has the coverage and that's what is most important to us.

I must practice patience when using the phone at home. When we first moved here I thought it was dead zone city, I now understand why all my neighbors in circle their property outdoors walking from place to place, the street toward my house, around the corner... they (like myself are trying to keep up the signal so the call won't be dropped. A typical call that would take 10 minutes, takes hours to complete. I usually give up. I don't know if another carrier would be any better.

There is a Verizon cell tower 3.42 miles due south of this location but reception and transmission is very poor at this site. I just terminated my Verizon contract with the cooperation of Verizon because the service at this location is sub-par.

Calls randomly drop. Been through 3 phones, Verizon customer service sucks, no help at all
