The actual zip code I live in is 85388, but this system wouldn't show it as valid. Go figure. Just switched to VW from AT&T thinking it was the service... again. This is the 3rd cell phone provider I have tried, to get any damn service in my house! Apparently it must be my neighborhood area cause when I go to my BF's house, 3.5 miles away, I get perfect service. My BF says the smarter the phone the worst reception you get. I am now beginning to believe him. :(( BTW: I am NOT switching again!

WTF... ... I have had the service for aprox. 3 hours now after being assured that the entire area has full coverage prior to purchasing. I get between 0 and 1 bars fluctuating constantly. The reception on the other end breaks up and skips words, etc.. Cricket is a scam. Cricket execs should be jailed for their crimes against the public. I am now forced to come out of pocket my hard earned funds to ship it back to them and cancel. When I called them to get a return number, the indian man who was reading from a script obviously repeated himself instead of listening to the answer I gave him-everytime. I was asked the same question(s) from him 4-6 times for goodness sakes! He refused to place a supervisor on the line after repeated attempts and eventually placed the call on hold and then hung up. Im going to be forced to do a charge back on my C.C. to get my money back out of this. Why is there no solution to my situation you ask? Why would I want one with Cricket? The phone has been sitting still next to me while I type this and has now decided it is in a 'ROAMING' area! There is no roaming coverage with Cricket in Surprise or anywhere on any plan. I HATE CRICKET wireless and I even read the complaints before making the stupid descision to save money (or so I thought)... and I just had to find out for myself. Well now I know... .and actually all the cell companies in Arizona suck and have horrible reviews. If it is not one thing, it is another... from no reception, to bad phones, to customer service nightmares. When will we as a population wisen up about these inconveniences that take years off of our prescious lives via unwanted stress etc.! I dont need a cell phone. I did not have one 15 years ago and I can go without one again! I am resourceful, and those rare situations that may or may not happen will make life interesting again like it was when we weren't so strapped to monthly fees and surcharges and debt that we do not need. It is time to wake up. The time is now... ... . Oh yeah Cricket wireless causes cancer.

The call quality is not good. I dont get very many dropped calls but the call quality is very bad. It is hard for me to understand them and them to understand me. But I guess you get what you pay for(cheap family plan).

Both my husband and I have a contract with Sprint through 2009 and are considering changing because we have consistenly been frustrated with dropped calls or no reception at all in our home, outside on our back patio or in our driveway for almost 3 years (we've tried Alltel and that was only marginally better). The Sprint store at Arrowhead is the closest store that provides service / repair and they have not been helpful at all. And, 85388 IS a valid zip code (previously 85374).

Best service I've receiving in a cell phone in a long time. I live in this area, but work in Tempe and I have yet to find a place where this phone will not work. Its the Helio service but I know it works on the Sprint Network.

I get about 2-3 bars... ..on verizon, not bad I guess

We do not get any reception at our home, located in the Arizona Traditions community, which is about a 1 / 4 to 1 / 2 mile from the Willow Canyon HS tower. Outside the community our reception ranges from 2-5 bars, no matter where we are. Cingular cannot give us an explanation. We have even replaced our original phone.

No dropped calls, clear reception indoor and out. Verizon dropped calls all the time and I had lousy customer service.

Drops calls all the time. Spent 2 hours on the phone with customer server, talked to 6 people until I finally go to someone, who told me I am "in a known, poor coverage area and we have no idea when it will be fixed".

0 to 1 bar all the time. Drops calls 99 out of 100 times. TERRIBLE coverage.
