Coverage was below average at my workplace, but has slipped to poor in the last week. At least half the text messages I attempt to send, fail. This is a business location, it should be covered! Coverage at my home in Peoria (3 mi south of Arrowhead mall) is below average but tolerable.

I get average to good signal but the 3G speeds sucks. I mostly get <1Mb / s, average <500kb / s. I wish Sprint will increase their trunk lines (T1s or Fiber) to accommodate all the Android phones that they have released in the last 6 months.

Sprint claims there should be reception in this area of at least two bars. Gave me a replacement phone. It is not the phone, it is Sprint's lack in coverage.

From a Razr to an enV to a Curve 8330 to a Storm and now a Tour, coverage and call quality has been superb in and around Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, and Scottsdale. The Tour gets 3G just about anywhere I've been. Dropped calls are a non issue.

if I even think about placing a call underground or in the library, my phone will not even operate. the only people I know that get service in the underground classrooms are people with Verizon wireless. I also lived in an apartment complex near papago park in tempe, az and had to pretty much leave my apartment and walk a few yards in order to get 2 bars. Sprint sucks reception sucks but the phones are awesome.

Never have dropped a call and if I did I cant remember. Excellent call quality, excellent phones, excellent customer service, 6 out of 5 stars. I left for the iPhone but ended up paying the ETF and throwing my iPhone out the window, literally and going back to Verizon.

Dropped calls left, right, up, down, all around. Signal bars are an optical illusion, you can drop calls whenever and wherever. By far, the WORST carrier in the southwest. Constant network failures, outtages, problems whatever you want to call it. Never, ever, going to get AT&T ever.

Worst network ever. Terrible all over the Western U.S. Don't get it. Do NOT get it. I would never get it again. I wish I wouldn't have wasted all my money. I drop almost every call I make!

I have Verizon and so does my sister. I have many friends in Milwaukee. I was doing some checking for a friend in Milw and she's having the same problem my sister and I have. We all have LG VX 6000 and 6100 lots of people in Phoenix and milw are saying they don't work at home. I read lots of comments here. The one thing my friends and family have in common is a Linksys wireless router. So i'm going to unplug my router and see if my reception changes. As an RF engineer I have seen examples of this with other types of RF equipment. Anybody else want to try and see if it makes a difference? Sometimes my cell will drop a call if open certain apps on my computer also. Expermentation time anybody? Resonant harmonics from a source with more power than a cell signal?

always dropped calls. I have to go outside and stand in the right place. I looked at a map of Verizon towers on google and theres a huge empty spot in west Tempe. just to the south towers are about a 1 / 4 mile apart. near 101 and university there are about a mile apart. The best network, least dropped calls? Right and I have a bridge for sale cheap!

I have had no interruptions in service at all. After looking at the maps of all the towers, all and all, great coverage area. My phone even works out in the desert 35 miles outside of town. Which is handy because thats when you need to use your phone to figure out if you are going to the right place. Never misses a call and always receives my text messages. I'm getting way better coverage than my previous service providors (T-Mobile, Cricket, and All Tel). Thats the beauty of an unlocked phone, I can switch GSM Networks. If any of you reading this want to switch you can always unlock your phone so you never have to waste money on a new phone and get stuck in a contract. Just do a google search on your cell phone model and the word unlock in your search and there are plenty of sites happy to help you.

This is the worst network I've been on. I've had T-Mobile before and this never happened. I had to switch since my work would only allow us to have Cingular phones and I got tired of paying out of my pocket for all my long work phone calls. Error in connection, network busy, bad signal, phone calls dropped are continuous and never-ending. Cingular's campaign of the fewest dropped calls is a HUGE LIE! They probably advertise this because that is the biggest reason why their customers leave and they want them back by lying to them so that they get in crazy one year contracts for a mediocre to poor network. Meanwhile I hope our company either switches or gives us more network choices or I'll have to return the phone and demand a monthly allowance on another network.
