I have had no interruptions in service at all. After looking at the maps of all the towers, all and all, great coverage area. My phone even works out in the desert 35 miles outside of town. Which is handy because thats when you need to use your phone to figure out if you are going to the right place. Never misses a call and always receives my text messages. I'm getting way better coverage than my previous service providors (T-Mobile, Cricket, and All Tel). Thats the beauty of an unlocked phone, I can switch GSM Networks. If any of you reading this want to switch you can always unlock your phone so you never have to waste money on a new phone and get stuck in a contract. Just do a google search on your cell phone model and the word unlock in your search and there are plenty of sites happy to help you.

This is the worst network I've been on. I've had T-Mobile before and this never happened. I had to switch since my work would only allow us to have Cingular phones and I got tired of paying out of my pocket for all my long work phone calls. Error in connection, network busy, bad signal, phone calls dropped are continuous and never-ending. Cingular's campaign of the fewest dropped calls is a HUGE LIE! They probably advertise this because that is the biggest reason why their customers leave and they want them back by lying to them so that they get in crazy one year contracts for a mediocre to poor network. Meanwhile I hope our company either switches or gives us more network choices or I'll have to return the phone and demand a monthly allowance on another network.

My top floor condo is right next door to Tempe Camera on University, and could only get 2 / 5 bars with Cingular. So I ported number over to T-Mobile and get 5 / 5 bars 95% of the time now.

The best coverage I've ever seen. Shows 5 bars indoors, outdoors, while driving around. Never dropped a call for 2 years.

I get 0 or 1 bar. The entire central campus is almost unuseable for Sprint customers. This also held true with my previous phone (a Samsung), and for a friend's Sprint phone (type unknown). I am always on roaming, even while outdoors, when I'm anywhere near Life Sciences E or the Central Plant, and even then sometimes I cannot complete a call without a walk of 50-80 yards from my building. I am ready to drop Sprint.

T Mobile has not acted like a JD Power winner. Their reception is non existent at the Bashas Shopping Center. I must admit that I fell for a proposal from their retail store to buy a new phone (Samsung t509). Same results. Then they refused to take the second phone back and cancel my two year exension. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in the Washington area where they are headquarted. This has been a nighmare and I would strongly suggest that you stay away from T Mobile

S Dorsey Ln. Btw. Baseline / I-60, Tempe, AZ 85282 |
Tue Jul 04, 2006 |
I live in Tempe on S Dorsey just off of Baseline by Arredondo Elementary and the park. I can't even use my cell phone at home because it drops every single call and I'd say maybe 20% of the time it's "searching for signal". I can't receive calls many times either and when I do, I can't hear the person and / or it drops. We have no landline here and I can't even call Sprint for help because when I have, I wait on hold, then the call drops. I am really sick of the service and there's no point in having the phone when I can't even use it at home. This is unacceptable for my location in the middle of the city like this. Very unhappy. Stupid 2 year contract...

Every single stinking game with the SUNS vs. LA me and my buddy both who have Verizon couldn't get a signal at either Native New Yorker on DOrsey and Broadway nor at McDuffys on 5th and Ash, near Mill. Yup its the network (crappy) allright. Not to mention that in Coconut Grove in Miami Florida, I couldn't get a signal at my Bro's pad. I stayed there for a little over a week and it is in the middle to south of Miami! Forget about your (crappy) network.

3 years with Verizon in Phoenix area, and only a handful of dropped calls. Remember... the systems that now go by the name of Verizon, and Alltel have the best coverage because they have been in place since 1985. The other carriers started service in 1994 or afterwards and they will probably never have the same level of coverage since the other 2 networks had a 10 year head-start on placing antennas all over town.
