Cingular sucks. I'm a former AT&T customer. Two months after dropping $400 on my phone those jerk weeds told me I would have to buy a new one to be on the "Cingular" network. I told them to bite me. Half the time I have no service in my house. I may set up a fire pit in my backyard and start sending smoke signals which is light years better than no signal.

Serivce is non-existant in the house and only usable in the front yard area. I will not be renewing and looking to find a way out early... Continuously dropping calls while driving. Not a mobile service. It's no wonder I have nearly 10,000 rollover minutes... .can't make any calls.

I wish I never went with Cingular. Worst service that I have had in Tucson in 6 years. Assured that their serivce would mach the old AT&T service... not event close.

just got 3rd replacement after two 551 failed to work in the house, the 557 works OK indoors...

On a good day I can Get maybe 2-3 bars of signal in this area. When I am at the local Lowe's or Walmart I seem to be the only person who can't use my phone because of limited coverage. This area is growing with new homes and businesses. It would be nice to see a new tower to support the area. But from what I read below it will not happen soon. Time to look at a new carrier.

I switched over to Cingular from AT&T last year in June 2005. I was told from the sales office near my area the a new tower was going to be installed nearby the end of the summer to improved the signal strength (which I am getting between 1 to sometimes 3 bars). The summer ended and no tower. I was then told the end of the year. But nothing. I stop by the office to inquiry and this time I was told by this July but another sales person said she had heard by the end of the year. Good thing my contract is ending at the end of June. One good this about Cingular it works great between Tucson and Yuma and Tucson and El Paso which I visit. It also works great in Mexico and automatically switches to their carriers. To bad it does not in my area.

Dropped calls everywhere especially Ina / Pima Canyon Rd. and at home. Today, thunderstorm, no service at all for the last 6 hours.

this has to be one of the worst servive lve had.in one night l got 15 drop calls,one after another.l have to be outside to get some reception.l feel l been decieved by the company they promise me a tower will be comming up in june.this l have to see.their voicemail,you have to tell your caller to leave the time and date they are are calling.because you will not get it from them.as much as they are buiding in this area (be warn do not by cinguler )l had better reception with cricket,until l went over to valecia and camino de oeste

No reception in house on E. Miramar. Have Alltel service to use at home and keeping Cingular for international capability. Very disapointed with service by Cingular office on Broadway.

My Cingualar service is totally rediculous! In my apartment I have to grab my phone and run by either the kitchen window or go outside. Otherwise my calls get dropped. And the company's modo states, " fewer dropped calls". Yeah sure. I've been with this company for several years. About 3-4 years before AT&T merged with Cingular. I've tried different phones and nothing helps. where at? Select locations?
