Highly inconsistent LTE on MetroPCS. Sitting in my living room downloads range from 40 Mbps at 5:45AM to 3.04 Mpbs at 8PM. Speeds fall off very rapidly after sunrise. Is this a temperature effect, insufficient antenna height or weak antenna amplifiers, or just a huge population of kids consuming games and streaming video? Signal strength is geographically highly variable all over Tucson but the hourly variability of download speeds is consistent. It's very difficult to determine exactly how many towers / antennas T-Mobile has, I suspect most are colocation or rentals from other carriers and that coverage is limited because T-Mobile is contracting for surplus bandwidth, with priority given to customers of the host carrier.Was this review helpful to you?

I have Straighttalk, which uses AT&T or Verizon Towers, I am on the AT&T Towers and the reception is very good all over town, I average 4 bars around town and a full 5 bars at home, I get data speeds of 39mbps at home and 36-39 at work, I've used Straighttalk for three years now and the service has always been great.Was this review helpful to you?

I'm usually getting dropped calls when I'm in my home. Either the person states that I'm cutting in and out or the call is dropped completely. I've been an AT&T customer for 15 years. Their cost just increases and their customer service decreases. I often say AT&T is like a bad boyfriend; hard to get a hold of, never picks up when I call, is never there for me, treats me like I'm an option and NOT a priority. I have been with T-Mobile for 2 years I was told every time I complain about no service in my home oh you need to upgrade to a better phone with a better antenna I have upgraded several times just to be disappointed was given the cellspot does not work now T-Mobile tech support was supposed to figure out the problem call me back in 72 hours never did call me back I had to call them two weeks later and they say there's no service in your area and there's not going to be at our place anytime soon now they want to send me another cell spot which I don't see where that's going to work when I have the most upgrade cell spot there is. It has been nothing but a fight from day one to use my phone at home I cannot send my quotes for either one of my businesses I cannot do anything online whatsoever on my phone on my computer with my hotspot without having to go out into the street in front of my house to get any kind of a signal.I am just beside myself with this service.Was this review helpful to you?
