You can never go wrong with ALLTEL, unless you live out in Vail or Sahuarita. Other than that it works everywhere!

Low signal strength in Foothills area. Usually get 2-3 bars at home in Finisterra (unless blocked by a hill in which case there is no signal strength). 2-3 bars is enough to get good reception, but I only get this in certain locations at home.

Have to go on front porch to get good reception. Elsewhere, no problem. Will try a new phone soon.

Dropped calls at home residence; must go into backyard to ensure no dropped calls. All family members (4) experience dead zones along First Ave south of Orange Grove to River Rd, Campbell south of Skyline to River Rd, Skyline east of Orange Grove intersection to Swan. We formerly had Verizon, which was better in terms of reception (but billing issues). My suggestion: if you live in area or frequent the area, look too another provider. We most definitely will once our 2-year subscription ends.

Sprint reception is great all around the Northwest side. Downtown is good. The number of bars gets a bit weaker towards the East Side of Tucson, but I never have dropped calls anywhere in the Tucson area.

Better than Verizon in home. Transmission was poor on old ATT Wireless network. New Cingular network seems to work good on this phone.

Reception is good inside house (Rita Ranch), much better that SPRINT. I do drop calls when driving up Houghton near Irvington all the way to Golf Links.

Cingular is really great, even in Tucson. Sprint, on the other hand, really sucks both with their cell phone lack of service and their really crappy broadband internet service, if you can call it service. Most doesn't work. Of course cable is just as bad.
