Cannot hear or be heard then call drops ! Never had this problem with Verizon anywhere except on the Maine coast. Just began ten days ago.

I had AT&T and reception was fine. Went to Verizon after hearing they had better coverage in rural areas. Unfortunately I found out that Verizon coverage at my home is terrible. I have to turn off the LTE function to get more than 1 bar. Then I use my home wifi for data. Tried the signal booster didn't do jack. What's bizarre is some neighbors have good signals, others don't. When I'm driving around town I have better coverage. I'll probably go back to AT&T when my plan expires even though the coverage isn't as good when I'm traveling.

Little or no service at home in Marana. Strong service downtown. ATT keeps raising price of my grandfathered unlimited plan. Ready to leave them.

I just switched to Cricket at the beginning of 2017 and I have extremely poor cell reception. Calls sound great--if they get through. I live in mid-town Tucson and am disappointed / confused why I'm lucky to get 1 bar and so many calls never make it to me. Called customer service last week; they had me reset something that didn't do squat.

service was ok (**) until 2016. now I get one bar and have to walk outside to keep a call. three blocks SW of us I get 3 bars. service varies constantly, but on the average is bad and all Verizon wants to do is sell me something else. I gave up on ATT several years ago and now Verizon is just as bad or worse. I-Phone 5 worked best, I use a 6 now and service is poor.

Constantly dropped calls, people calling in would get my voicemail and it would not ring on my side (3 phones on account all acted the same) They stated upgrade to an S6 so I did that... still no signal. Couldn't call out even with the free booster (only 3g boosters available as well) I put in my home from sprint. Said unlimited data on my account, but it wouldn't work so often I stopped using it. I couldn't use my phones often and reported over 150 network issues in 60 days. I am a real estate agent and my phones MUST work or people think you are ignoring them. My office just "came to know" that my phone just was not working again for calls, so they would text me... ridiculous! I had been with them over 10 years... loved the plan, but felt I had to move to Verizon... I hope an pray that this service is so much better. Had to reinvest in phones which I just did with Sprint... and the trade-in really stinks!

Highly inconsistent LTE on MetroPCS. Sitting in my living room downloads range from 40 Mbps at 5:45AM to 3.04 Mpbs at 8PM. Speeds fall off very rapidly after sunrise. Is this a temperature effect, insufficient antenna height or weak antenna amplifiers, or just a huge population of kids consuming games and streaming video? Signal strength is geographically highly variable all over Tucson but the hourly variability of download speeds is consistent. It's very difficult to determine exactly how many towers / antennas T-Mobile has, I suspect most are colocation or rentals from other carriers and that coverage is limited because T-Mobile is contracting for surplus bandwidth, with priority given to customers of the host carrier.
