At UMC, where coverage is important when waiting for patients to come our of surgery, there are zero ATT bars inside, and even outside in front of the main entrance, not enough signal strength to hold a call. This is in any area when many people on other networks are making calls.

Afte many years of getting good rececption, the last ten days I can not receive calls in my downtown office. Sprint has no clue. I assume that they are having problems with a tower. But who knows?

They are so lame, I couldn't even get them to acknowledge that I even ordered the service, even with a confirmation and an order number. They jacked me around for about an hour on the phone, talking to at least 7 different employees then (after I was really worked up) the supervisor told me he was canceling my order and ended the phone call cause I was being rude!

IF... that is IF I have reception here (my own home) it is one bar. Lousy reception elsewhere, too.

I am very suprised reading the above entries. My Verizon rocks. Clear as a bell and I have never had any problems with reception on both ends of the line. I have had maybe one or two dropped calls since I have been here in the last six months. It doesn't matter where I am, whether inside the building at work, Tucson mall, or even at my home. I can make long distance calls and even walk throughout my house in some of the inner rooms. Don't know what to say but, when they say, "Here me now? Good" They are no kidding.

Cannot get any reception in my house. Am actually missing calls in my house because my phone cannot get a signal to receive the call. Was told there was going to be a new tower going in that would strengthen my signal, so I signed a new contract. After too many dropped calls, I spoke to customer service yesterday and there is no new tower.

I was happy with my Alltel service until the snow day in January when a switch was damaged and the company put us on roaming for the day. After that dropped calls became frequent.

Guarenteed dropped call within one block of my home. Very spotty reception within the house.

I have never had a problem with T-Mobile unless I go into a Bookmans or Wal Mart... then the bars go down to 1 or 2, sometimes no reception at all.

My cricket phone is usually reliable, there is only two places I have trouble, In walk ins at resturants (most of us don't have to deal with that) and my house, not any other place on my street, just my house.

We get very poor reception inside our house and have to go out in the backyard to make calls. Long distance calls are the worst - they drop off after only a few minutes. It's a pity, since we are paying for national service but can't use it. Cingular customer service justs shrugs us off, saying there is very diverse coverage in our neighborhood.

I get 0 to 1 bar in my house, but usually a network reject or no service warning. Outside I usually get 1 to 2 bars. Travelling aroung town I vary from 3 -4. Big cities I can get 5 bars. T-Mobile sucks! I will be switching to Verizon or Sprint as soon as my contract is over!

I've been with AT&T since they first offered nationwide service. I've carried the same calling plan for years - no one offers anything comparable now for price / minutes, so I've held on. But in the last couple of years AT&T service / reception has deteriorated so badly that I'm looking to switch, plus current Siemens phone is the worst I've ever had. I can't even get reception at the AT&T store near Tucson Mall, and constant dropped calls or poor reception at home. Problem is I can't keep same plan/phone# (according to AT&T) if I switch to anything other than an AT&T phone, but try to find one now.

Reception is good on the I-10 between these exits except around mile marker 185.

Most of the time when I travel on First Avenue just south of Orange Grove my call is dropped.

Many areas of Tucson receive good signal quality. However, there is no reception at the Tucson mall or in the parking lot. This is a major frustration.

Used to have excellent reception - but it has become almost non existent in last 6 months
