Excellent reception. I hunt, so I am in remote areas frequently. It is my life line for any emergency. Tried all other carriers for my business, they do not work.

Signal strength / dropped calls can vary greatly. Cingular apparently has contracted with Comnet to handle repairs / upkeep of the antenna in this area by some type of roaming agreement. They do not want to admit that there is a problem with dropped calls / lack of signal strength in the area. Each customer service rep has a different story and they don't seem to care if your problem is solved or not. The nearest full-service(?) Cingular stores' employees will tell you they have "good" coverage in the area - HA!

I'm with T-Mobile. Reception is spotty and I have to piggyback on the Cingular network while in N. Arizona.

Verizon's coverage / service prior to the Alltel takeover was fair in Valle and Grand Canyon. Since that time, phone and broadband service has gotten progressively worse. Repeated calls for over a year and a half have produced many excuses, but very little information and no improvement. With no other carriers serving the area, Verizon's poor service is the only choice.
