My specific house is a 'black hole' as we call it. Other than that, the rest of the city is great!

Cant use my Sprint cell phone in my own home. It just wont work... ever. They want to sell me a tower for $100.00 plus you have to have 4 phone lines with them... ... AND THEY'LL CHARGE A MONTHLY FEE? I'll take a 'ding' on my pristine credit just to shove it up their ass on this one. Sprint sucks it.

5 yr customer, lost reception 5-6 months ago at my home. Issue written about in Local Acorn Newspaper. After 3 calls Verizon confirmed the loss of signal, and said they were NOT going to fix it in my neighborhood, and I could either leave or pay $250 out of my own money to buy their range extender. "My Problem", not theirs... . Don't know what to do. AT&T does not seem good either...

We get no bars most of the time and if we are lucky once in a while we will have one bar. We have had to get a land line because all calls are eventually dropped. Text msgs are also hard to send / get. Have had no luck resetting, updating, and exchanging phones. Customer service seems to know nothing of my problem every week I call. I have gone as far as filing a ticket with tech support and they are supposed to come out and physically check for problems. They can not give me a solid answer for why there is no reception out here. We moved to Agoura Hills 4 months ago from Woodland Hills and the signal had been bad there also for a couple months. Prior to 2009 I NEVER had signal issues anywhere except for driving through from the 405 to 5 north and on one desolate spot on the 210. What happened? All my family and friends are on Verizon and we rely on the savings of being all on the same network. The make a lot of money from all our accounts and provide 1 / 2 the service they promise. I was told that since I have always paid my bill on time I was agreeing that everything was ok on my end, so now I have made a point to not pay untill I get an answer or major discount. I would be willing to forgive and forget if they would just be willing to be honest about their coverage flaws and have flexibility with the bills of those of us who are affected by weak areas. Is it too much to ask to get what we pay for?

reception has gradually gotten worse over the last two months, apparently ATT has over sold their tower capabilities - too many phones and not enough equipment; shame on you ATT

No reception in Liberty Canyon. Have to drive out past intersection of Agoura Rd.and Liberty Canyon to get messages and make calls. Reception is sporadic inside many buildings and structures throughout Conejo valley. Very dissapointed. AT&T TDMA did work fine and got worse when it became Cingular but it still worked

Reception is generally good to very good in Agoura, Westlake and Thousand Oaks, however there are some strange "drop zones" on Kanan where the reception goes to null. I'd say it works well about 98% of the time out here though. Reception in the San Fernando Valley (Woodland Hills, Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, Encino, etc...) is very "on and off" with great reception in small sectors and poor or null reception in many others. The quality of reception on AT&T's GSM network has improved slightly in the year that I've had the phone but Cingular seems to have better coverage here in the Los Angeles area, and Version seems to be the best when you stay solely in the S.F. Valley. I heard a rumor that Cingular and T-Mobile were going to be merging their networks out here, so both services may get a lot better - I may have to make a switch away from AT&T.
