1 bar, 2 if your lucky. Lots of dropped, missed or one sided calls. (I can hear the caller, caller can not hear me)

I don't know if it is Verizon that blows, or LG's phones (comments on the web usually tend to bash LG on reception, whereas switching to a Motorola improves the situation). But I live very close to two cell phone towers, near New Ave and Valley Blvd, and obviously they can't be Verizon towers or else my phone would have awesome reception. It's like the Black Hole for getting a signal. HATE IT! When we use to have Cingular's predecessor, PacBell, in '99, it sucked just as bad then. It is rumoured that Cingular customers have good reception in this small area, but it may have to do with the type of phone too. It seems like the area bordering Valley Blvd, New Ave, Almansor Park and Almansor Ave. is the Black Hole for my cell phone. ONE BAR TO NONE for signal strength. Have dropped more calls in this particular area than I can count. Aargh. I have also encountered voice and text messages getting to my phone HOURS after they were sent. It makes me want to dance a jig on my phone!
