Had AT&T. Had T-Mobile. Trying to make a phone call anywhere in the so-cal area was a joke. Unless your willing to get ripped off by Verizon, Sprint is your only other choice. You have coverage everywhere and roam off Verizon when you don't. Haven't found more than 1 location where I have to roam. Sprint honestly is your best choice. Don't think the new merger with AT&T and T-Mobile will help. Your prices will only go up, and you'll continually have bad service. Good luck getting AT&T to build out their network in this area. They've been apparently doing it for years. Right...

Dropped land lines five years ago, now I will need a land line if I stick with att. No calls out, I miss calls and it doesn't even show that I missed a call on the screen. Its terrible for business or anyone

No bars indoors or close to my workplace. Have to go a couple of blocks away and finally get 3-4 bars reception by the park at the corner of Huntington Dr. and Santa Anita.

Sprint is the only carrier we can get "loud and clear" I tested all the major carriers when we moved here from North Cal. last year and by far Sprint is the best! great reception throughout Sierra madre but a couple of spotty areas in Arcadia. My wife has T-Mobile thru her company and she can get no reception at our house. She has to drive around to make a phone call or check email. Would love to be able to get the I-Phone but... ..

Poor to No Reception. The servicew is terrible on all makes of Nextel phone in this area. Less than a year ago, before Sprint (BS), the service was above average. Now, I'm looking to switch service. And I'm not alone!

Almost no reception in house "Can you hear me now?", outside maybe 1 bar if I stand facing North, my right hand pointing south, phone held perfectly with only 2 fingers so I don't cover the antenna, Hold my Breath - oh yeah and wearing my foil hat with spring and ball antennas :>) In and around the whole area is spotty, driving on the 210fwy seems ok Start travelling South it starts improving, travel south to orange County no problems.

I think I get full bar if I don't make any calls but when I have incoming or out going calls, reception SUCKS! I would hear bits and pieces on the conversations. I have 2 phones with me Nokia 8900 and 3200. When I had Cingular, reception was ok for the Samsung phone. But once switch to T-mobile, all hells break loose. Yeah I would have full bar but like I said if I'm making or getting calls can't get jack.
