	In Pinebrook, Sprint seems to work here on multiple phones. Roaming only, so no data, only voice and text. AT&T doesn't seem to work. According to all of the major service provider maps (see websites), Sprint is the only one with coverage in Pinebrook. Signal strength varies around Arnold, but mostly it is available. Forget it in Dorrington or Camp Connell or heading to Bear Valley. Works well in Bear Valley, Murphys, Angels Camp. Data available in Angels Camp.

Verizon 4 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola T730	Verizon and Golden State Cellular are the only mobile services that work from Angels Camp to Ebbetts Pass. Motorola is the most reliable phone in this area. I can even get a signal in the Kit Carson Wilderness. Verizon Blackberry data connection does not work past Farmington (20 miles east of Stockton).

Verizon 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: Blackberry 7250	Finally got digital coverage in Arnold - although its pretty marginal and spotty. Verizon on Blackberry 7250. But while the phone works, the data connection is not accepted - so no Blackberry email.

AT&T 0 Out of 5 Phone Model: Apple iPhone 4	There is no reception from Hathaway Pines to Tamarack. Completely dead, even with a boosting antenna (which works quite well, elsewhere) I can't believe that AT&T would not serve all these people (or at least find a roaming connection)

AT&T 0 Out of 5 Phone Model: Apple iPhone 3G	Hwy. 4: AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile share GSM coverage (towers) in Angels Camp and Murphys, but nothing further up Hwy. 4 including Hathaway Pines, Avery, Arnold, and Dorrington until reaching Bear Valley. Good coverage is overdue along Hwy. 4 in Calaveras County, CA. Verizon Wireless (CDMA) roams on local carrier, Golden State Cellular, throughout any covered areas in Calaveras County.
