Solid reception from Paso all the way through Santa Maria. I use Sprint as my main phone (no land line) and for Internet service and have had no coverage issues for the 4 years I've been with them. Only area I experience limited coverage: Hwy. 58 between Atascadero and Shandon

Verizon has been perfact for 8 years but arround the time iphone n 4g came out it can not keep bars consistant. the 4g has gone from wow to where is it, out more then 50% of the day and 75% on sat and sundays. after many complaints to Verizon for paying $30mo for internet then $30more month to use the int. I already pay for via hotspot. they offered me a day credit only for the days I called in,wow thats customer serve. anyways its what I thought Verizon just announced there dragged down service is now rated low or marginal for both 3g and 4g on the central coast. And I am now free to leave my contract with all 4 phones because it cant provide the covarage I was sopposed to get

I have had T-Mobile for about 8-9 months and find coverage all over the county is spotty and North county really sucks. From my house to Paso I get dropped 2-3 times. I had Cellular One before and had excellent coverage but T-moblie rates poor.

Have no reception at home, constantly dropping calls, very weak service in north county. Cant understand the phone battery goes dead every day however when out of town it will last 4 1 / 2 to 5 days and have much better reception. do the phones use more power trying to find a signal? Do the providers block you from the towers closest to our homes so we still have to use landlines?

I am finding T-Mobile coverage of the North county is very spotty. I often get call failed messages or dropped calls while driving 101.

4 weeks ago we obtained Verizon for our cell provider. At that time, and up until one week ago we still had landlines in our home.
We dropped the landlines and were going 100% with cellular. BUT, Verizon has no signal at our home. Have to go about 1/4 mile down the street to use the service.
Verizon has acknowledged that "there is no signal in your small area according to our coverage map".
We want out of the contract witihout having to pay the $175.00 ETF. The should have told us, or shown us the coverage map when we inquired about their service and plans.
