I don't know what is going on with Sprint, I'm their customer for 5+ years and reception always worked fine in my home! The last two days, the Sprint reception completely went dead... .tried calling Sprint a few times, they are saying they see everything is working fine on their end and think it's my phone's problem! Are you kidding me, if my phone has a problem how come when I go down further down towards 101S (airport blvd) the phone work fine! Ridiculous! Looks like it's time to change carrier.

Zero bars inside my house, no connection. If I walk out to the street, I get 2-3 bars.

If you live in Brisbane, make sure you dial *228, option 2 every month or so to update your phone. I went from no reception to 4-5 bars this week!

This is my second Verizon phone and it still doesn't work in my area. I have relatives come over with other Verizon phones and they ring, but you can't pick up and have a conversation.

T-Mobile service has been poor. I never receive more than 2 of 5 bars and usually 0 or 1 bar out of 5. I've tried 2 Motorola phones and the V300 was better than V150, but neither work well. In comparison, have a Siemens A55 with ATT GSM and it works well (4 of 5 bars). Will ditch T-Mobile and get another ATT GSM Siemens phone.

Located on eastern side of 'Brisbane bowl' with ATT / Cingular service and Siemens A55 phone. I almost always get 4 of 5 bars... occasionally 5 of 5. However, it took two Nokias (both Chinese), then the Siemens (German) phone to get good reception. In comparison, new T-Mobile service is horrible with 0 of 5 to MAX of 2 of 5 bars, not to mention 25% dropped call rate. Will cancel T-Mobile now after two Motorolas - the V-180 and V-300, which also are made in China.

New tower in area provides decent coverage for AT&T NextGen in Altamar complex. Cingular users also seize these towers; phone will say "Cingular Extend."

Sprint PCS and Nextel are the only two services I'm aware of that work on this side of the community. Reception is very good from the softball field all the way west on Mission Blue.

Depending on traffic on 101, reception is good except rush hours. 3 bard generally. Much better than the lower parts of town, I think.

Nextel has one to two bars in Altamar / Ridge complex. Dropped calls are common inside buildings (never walk around) but calls can be held outdoors.
