AT&T has real bad reception in this area! I hate it and am thinking of switching carriers take my advise don't go to AT&T

Cell Tower a couple of blocks from our house, always get good reception where other carriers would fail by having dead zones within the premises.

Thank goodness this phone has UMA and can make / receive calls and texts via WIFI, otherwise service is spotty at best in my location (Meadow Brooke).

Everybody here has to go outside and walk around to try and get reception.

Only Verizon works in this neighborhood, and it's not as good as it used to be. Other carriers are basically dead here, especially if you want to use it *inside* your home. I did a comparative use test using an unlocked Nokia and alternated chips from Cingular (prior to merger), TMobile and ATT; as I said, Verizon is the only thing you can use inside your home.

Reception is horrible at my work in fullerton, CA at imperial and harbor. Reception doesn't really improve at my home either. Really considering getting a new carrier.

five bars at all times, pretty much anywhere I go. Verizon is hands down the best coverage in the Southern California area. When I used to live in Cypress near the racetrack, I tried using both Cingular and T-Mobile, and could BARELY get one bar! I'm tempted to go to CDMA companies like tmobile / at&t / cingular so I can use a european spec phone, but I cannot tolerate the terrible coverage which ensues with those companys. : )

Bottom floor is impossible to use cell phone. Upper floor, very minimal. Cell phone service in the US is a joke. I've been to third world countries where cell phone works even inside tunnels. VERIZON, Can You Hear Me NOW?

Had ATT for years..went to Verizon because of poor to no reception at my home or most of what is called Bellhurst near Los Coyotes Country Club. Although it was good in the beginning, I now get very poor to no reception at home or outside and very poor at the country club. Don't know if the phone is going bad or that something else is wrong.

Ever since I switch to Sprint PCS I get good reception. I was also getting good reception with AT&T until Cingular took over. I was receiving only one bar and my phone call will drop.
