I now live in "The Lakes" Developement. I get poor reception if I am in the house. I have to walk outside to get reception, even then it is not so great. Before I moved I lived off of DiscoBay Blvd. I got excellent reception there. I drive the Vasco route and reception there is ok. I have dropped a few calls when driving up / down the grade on Vasco. Also a dead spot on Camino Diablo when driving through the little hills.

AT&T seemed OK when I moved to Discovery Bay in Jan. 2004. I ski the Delta a lot so chose AT&T because it seemed to work pretty well at my new house and around the delta (via boat). At that time Verizon had decent coverage here too. Now, I cannot use my phone from my house without poor reception, then dropping the call. Maybe Cingular is decreasing support on the (older) TDMA network. I am looking at changing to Verizon with CDMA.
