The reception is about 3-4 bars outside but once I step into my apartment it goes to 1 bar. To have a decent conversation I need to stand on my balcony or we just don't hear each other on the phone.

Services drops are many, and more often than about a year ago. Frustrating trying to make a call, often have to call back several times to complete short conversation. Doesn't seem to be a carrier that is better in this area.

Reception is in and out all over Calabasas except near the Commons and El Camino Shopping areas. Reception drops in and out all down the 101, it similarly drops in and out up and down PCH. Conversations lasting more thatn 2 min usually require 3 to 4 redials. Santa Monica reception is similarly spotty but not as bad toward Venice. My wife's Samsung has slightly better reception over all, but the drop outs are in similar places. It was the same with my V66 so I have to say it is the service. I guess because the greater Los Angeles area is such a backwoods sparsly populated place where very few people have cell phones it isnt cost effective to spend a lot of money making your cell network work.

I had decent reception for a whole year inside and outside my apartment, but in the past week I can't get a single bar, unless I drive out of the apartments or keep my phone up against a window. Very frustrating since I am self employed and work mostly from my home office. I don't know how coverage can deteriorate like that. I've called AT&T and they are clueless as to what may be happening here in recent days. My girlfriend has an iPhone 4S and she is experiencing the same issues, so I know it is not my phone. Bad reception in the Canyon, so let's put a cell tower in the hills behind.

Repeat of above. NO signal in Malibu Canyon Apartments. Can only have conversation if I start to drive out of complex toward 101 exits. I had Verizon in Hollywood for several years and then TMobile in Silverlake for a few more. NEVER had a problem with dropped calls or coverage in or out of house. Never knew what people complained about with coverage all the time... until I signed up with AT&T and bought an iPhone. If I ever move out of Calabasas, I'm going back to Verizon or TMobile. Those carriers and phones made me feel like I was walking around with a land line in my pocket.

I live on Alizia Canyon Drive, just a few blocks from Las Virgenes Rd. Very poor coverage inside my house, and same goes for outside. There is one place in my house where I can occasionally recieve calls, but god forbid I move the phone a quarter of an inch or the call drops. Just enough time for me to tell the person I'll call them back from a landline. I need to drive at least two blocks before I can get a stable signal. According to T-Mobile's reps on the phone I should have a good signal here - not really the case. The only thing that works inside my house is Verizon, who has a tower about a mile from here.

I get low service in this area. 2/5 bars in the high school. Low reception when you go further higher into the hills of Calabasas.
