I have had AT&T for several years. The reception sucks. The customer service is beyond bad. Impossible to change anything on my account or ask a simple question without at least 30 minutes on the phone. Gonna try out Verizon.

Bad reception where I live and where I work in Chico. However I seem to get great reception when I'm other places like Paradise or Washington State, even in cities in Alaska.

It works most of the time, even in pretty hard to get to places. My house has had horrible reception with almost all carriers until about 6 months ago, when Verizon started working. I think AT&T works decent at my hosue too.

1 / 2 bar in house, 1 / 2 bar in backyard, all calls dropped after choppy conversation lasting 10 to 15 seconds. AT&T diplomatically told me "go fly a kite" Helloo Verizon!

Been with T-Mobile quite some years now. I get about 3-4 bars all the time, and even EDGE shows up from time to time, but I'm not sure if it is actually using it. I get 1-2 bars or No Service, inside my garage, with the metal door closed. :) I have a great plan and the other wireless companies have NOT been able to match it.

Never had any problem with Verizon or Motorola. Been a user since one Wireless / one Wired days with a Motorola DPC-550. Only one or two short dead air spaces on I-5. Caution: Verizon aggressively tries to get you to update your phone's software. The adage: "If it 'aint broken, don't fix it" applies.

Nothing in the house but great outside. Lots of variation wherever I drive. Have never been satisfied with service overall.

Have had Verizon for some time. Great reception inside and outside. Never a dropped call. Phone works all the way from LA to Shasta. Never tried further north.

Not a single bar all day and at night you might get one for a moment... but by the time you try to make the outgoing call the bar disappears. Your best bet is to text message and let the phone continue to send it out until it finally gets a bar. If you are lucky someone will get the text soon and call you back... then hope they get through and don't get put directly to voicemail.
