Recently seemed to get better signal, up to three bars, but varies everyday. Have been on hold with the bank for 10 minutes only to have my call dropped when I get an agent. Text messaging is also difficult due to poor reception. Never have any problem in any community in Southern California other than the section of Chino Hills in which I live, between Chino Hills Pkwy. and Soquel Canyon.

I was wondering if anyone had the scoop on this: I heard that AT&T is putting up a cell tower in Chino Hills. I have had Sprint, Cingular, T-Mobile and currently have Verizon and the service is definately sub-par. I heard this and was considering going back to AT&T.

Calls will usually drop after 30-60 seconds indoors or outdoors. Phone is essentially useless. Verizon did nothing about it. Any suggestions on a better carrier in this area?

I recently switched from Verizon to T-Mobile even though my friends said they had very poor coverage. At home in Butterfield with Verizon I could not call out more than 50% of the time and on top of that almost every call made was dropped. I jumped over to T-Mobile and I have not dropped a call in over 3 months while at home here. Thanks T-Mobile you have done good by me.

AT&T sux, that is all I can say. It's not just at home. 70% of the time my phone never rings nor my wife's. My old brick phone worked great. Technology does not always march forward. Sometimes I'll have 5 bars and receive no call nor be able to make calls. 90% of the time I have 2 or 3 bars. Not worth the money. T-Mobile shows great coverage at my home, I guess I have to try them.

I live at the very top of the hill (Eucalyptus) and I get no signal at all. It is frustrating because I can see a cell tower 0.83 miles away (to the south west) but, because it is not a Verizon tower, I get no signal bars. I have written to Verizon Wireless but I'm not holding my breath for any action.
