Verizon 3G in my room is often "D". My room in particular seems to have signal problem in anything, including cable internet though. Anywhere around my house is 3 ~ 4 range, and near constant 3G. Annoying that signals are weak in comfort of my own room, but looking at my recruiter and his iPhone getting dropped calls from AT&T is hilarious.

Signal highly variable, but normally is around 3 bars. Even with the 3 bars, I keep dropping calls. The receiver end does not hear me. I never used to have this many problems until I moved to this area after using the same phone in Mexico for most of my calls. The phone gets extremely hot when in use, although it never did get so hot before this.

I've been a Verizon customer since they were Airtouch. I've always had 5 bars in house in Otay Ranch until Dec 2009. Now I get very poor signal (0 to 1 bar). Customer service told us that the problem would be fixed in two weeks. That was two months ago. My neighbor's T-Mobile works great in our neighborhood.

Almost never have a problem with reception at home, though on occasion people say "What.." due to a temporary drop out. Infrequently loses connection. Verizon has a dead spot on I-805 south of I-8, loses connection most of the time. Very respective reception out in the deserts (Borrego Springs, etc). Have never needed to use roaming in 4+ years.

I had Nextel, always had crappy signal. Then changed to Verizon and now I have no problems at all. They are very reliable. Strong signal in East Chula Vista, but might loose a few bars next to Otay Lake.

I have had Verizon for 4 years, I have done road trips to Chicago and thru the Rocky mountains. I have occasional dropped calls in Chula Vista like driving thru the canyon on Olympic Pkwy. going out to Southwestern College. I have had few problems and I now use a bluetooth and I love it. The worst is in Moab, Utah there is a stretch of I-70 that has no services for 100 miles including Cell phone service. They need that guy to take a walk there and say "can you hear me know."

Our house is located on a street overlooking a canyon and at the foot of a hill. We have lost calls by simply walking a few feet away from the hallway to another room. However, running out the front door yelling can you hear me now has had its season run in the neighborhood.

My cell phone reception is weak in most places and rarely ever works in my home. My wife has T-Mobile Motorola V series (not sure of the model number) and it works without any trouble right next to mine with zero reception.

Reception here is almost always perfect. My phone only uses 0-4 bars for signal strength, I almost always get 4, so I'll put 5 here for perfect. ;)

Go far enough east on Otay Lakes Rd. (twisty road around the lake) and your cell phone dies; something especially bad if you happen to come across an accident on the twisty roads in such a remote area.
