reception is poor and I complained to AT&T and they told me coverage is not guaranteed and if I want to get better reception I need to purchase their Microcell for $200. If we didn't get discount from HP I would have dropped AT&T a long time ago. I'm hoping the competition with Verizon will force AT&T to start paying attention to their customers.

In the last 2 months neither I or my husband have had service at our home on 3 different occasions. Sprint / Nextels network needs to be more reliable. As soon as my contract is up I will be changing carriers.

3 or 4 bars in buildings but 4 or 5 outside in Citrus Heights and other areas. I get good reception all over the metro. Maybe I phones and blackberries aren't all they are made out to be, type of phone is a factor on reception??

I have the Lg Chocolate Dare which is a touch screen. I have full capabilities on my phone including internet, picture messaging, etc, etc. I get 4 bars consistantly and NEVER a dropped call. ALL FOR $40 dollars a month UNLIMITED. Yakity Yak in Rocklin can "Flash" ANY phone including the I-Phone to just about any network you choose. I highly recommend Metro PCS and Yakity Yak in Rocklin. They are very knowledgable and friendly.

Unless we are outside the house or standing next to a window, the reception is spotty and there are dropped calls.

no reception at all from sunrise and antelope to sunrise and cirby, which is a good mile. I live in between those streets and I can't even talk inside my apt or outside as well. I have to leave and go a mile away just to use my phone. and T-Mobile ain't doing nothing about it. don't ever get t-mobile. you'll be sorry...

Excellent reception with no complaints. Not perfect, but close. Local or long distance, no problems since I started service 11 / 2004.
