if you want great reception (full bars) in an area you have zero, then get an amp and directional antenna and boast the signal. Go here and you will see what I mean. unwiredsignal dot com (you can't post URLs so don't type the "dot com" in your browser!) check out the site and you can see how to set up a wireless dome inside your house whereby anyone can make or receive calls and the aircard will also pick up the wifi you just created. I live 15 miles west of 5 and I get zero bars. With this set up I get the full 4 bars! My amp a 9db and the antenna is 13db. Picks up all cell carriers 800mhz to 1800 mhz

No reception for hours, then 3 bars for a few minutes. Very spotty and unreliable coverage in Lake California, Cottonwood for my I-phone. When my contract is up I will be looking for a different carrier. If you recieve coverage less than half the time shouldn't you pay less than half the price? Service has gotten worse over the years.

there are some spots within a few miles where reception is good. There is one spot in my house where I can complete about one call out of five. Not so good.

My old Nokia was great. I could call anyone anywhere. Although I could not call my wife on her Motorla V60i 100' away, no reception bars on her phone (dead zone). Go figure.
