Verizon

Horrible service. No bars or sometimes only 2 bars of reception maximum. Text messages are delayed as well.

No Service started sept 14. ATT Cannot serm to resolve issue. Dropped service as well in the San Jose airport, Disnekand. I changed my Iphone 3 times. Itsnot the phone it is ATT's terrible service! And the urgent team they assign us to never calls back. Very poor. Switching to Sprint!

Need a signal booster (t-mobile 4g lte) to make the phone usable. Generally reception in the bay area is terrible for T-Mobile. Slow data speeds and interrupted calls. Phones are unusable in about 40% of the areas I frequent.

We're a few block south of Steven Creek. Most of the time I only got 1-2 bars of the reception signal inside my house. People on the other end often asked me to repeat what I said. Walking outside of the house is also 2 bars, very rarely up to 3. A few years back, Verizon was better than AT&T; but now, not anymore.

It seems like my AT&T cell coverage has become extremely erratic in the past few weeks. When I am inside my home it keeps switching to no service. Cannot receive calls, texts except over wifi. This has happened over last 2 weeks. The phone works fine elsewhere outside the cupertino / house area.

Inside or outside my house coverage is spotty. I'll see 4 bars on my phone, but by the time I'm done dialing it's down to 2 bars, so who are they kidding. It's marginally better than AT&T, my previous carrier. But Sprint still gives me dropped calls, very poor voice quality, and times when it takes 4-8 hours before I receive a text or voice message. Bottom line, I'm looking for a new carrier. Right now T-Mobile is in the running.

Just moved from the mid west where we never had cell problems. Amazes that here by Apple the internet is super slow and cell reception is very poor

I agree with the October 19 2014 review of poor AT&T coverage outside Cupertino Library. Calls drop very easily here, despite a visible cell tower on City Hall!

We changed to Verizon from AT&T to get better reception. However, Verizon is equally poor. Many dropped calls and poor connections. It seems ironic that we live in the heart of technology and can't get decent cell coverage. My contract is about up and I don't know where to go next!

I actually use Virgin Mobile over the Sprint Network. Connections are ok. Texting and data are much more reliable. I'm thinking of switching over to Sprint since it worked pretty well when we went to Hawaii (Oahu and Kauai). I've had AT&T previously. They were famous for dropped calls and barely 2 bars even outside. They put up an additional tower nearby so service is improved now. Too expensive for what you get.
