Reception is one bar downstairs and three bars upstairs in a two story residential home. In the last month I've noticed a lot of dropped calls. I previously had a cell phone with a pull up antenna and never had a dropped call.

I'm lucky if my phone even rings. Alot of times I get a missed call or voicemail notification a few hours later. The strange part is the phone works great everywhere over the US: NY, CHI, and ATL. This location has issues.

Calls never come in directly, just the notification of voicemail. Two weeks ago, cell coverage was down completely from 4pm to 2am.

The signal is very unstable and regularly there is no reception at all. The strength of signal swifts from 0 to 2 back and forth and my cellular loses its connection very often. My wife's cellular phone, SAGEM, made in France, well-known with "better reception" in many countries, does the same thing here, poor reception, even though it had an excellent reception in Taiwan before we came back last month.

I've had "Average-No Reception" lately due to a faulty Nokia 3360.
Changed to my Ericsson R300LX (backup phone) and reception is "Good-Perfect" now.
Trying to make up my mind if I really want to go with AT&T's GSM system.
My contract has been up, and I just saw an attractive new, 2-year, "Limited Offer" plan that I like.
I also want the Motorola V600, but how long do I have to wait. I would move today if I could get the V600 right now, and also "Add a Line".
Maybe another carrier will offer something that will catch my eye soon, and that will make up my mind.
Ether way, I think with the AT&T / Cingular merge, GSM will only get better.
