Breakup, missed calls, lost calls (inside or outdoors). The same has been true on previous Verizon phones I've used at this location.

Reception is rock-solid and reliable (indoors and out). Friends have also used Sprint with good results. Verizon has a VERY weak signal here.

At Mace Blvd.I get "No Service" messages. Going north on Mace off of the 80 it dies or goes up to a 1. Reception has deteriorated here greatly since October / November 2005.

Signal on the old TDMA network is about as good (bad) as Cingular's GSM network in this area. Indoor coverage is nonexistant, but usable outdoors. Works well in most other parts of Davis.

Cell reception is generally poor and fluctuates between 10%-50% signal strenth. Doesn't work inside, but decent outside. (Using a triband GSM phone)

The worst signal ever! Most of the time I can't make calls. The customer serivce since the merger is very bad and they won't help when the phone has problems!

Not bad for an unlimited service! You can pay your bill in town, very convienent. No frills serivce and reception is good.

Walking around in my house, I get a ton of Voicemail because my phone never picks up the call and rings. Once I try to call them back, I have to find a place with reception or go outside. Occasionally i'll have dropped calls, and it's really frustrating to have that happen in 2005. Reception on campus is decent and downtown is very good.

Great reception. I live at Sterling Pointe and there is no problem with the reception here at any time of the day. It does switch between AT&T and Cingular though.

I have not had a dropped call since switching to Cingular in West Davis. With Verizon I could barely get reception. Finally I can call from home.
