Poor coverage in this area. Although, other carriers seem to have similar service problems. The coverage is poor inside the complex and better outside on the western side.

reception always week. have to walk outside for a decent signal 2bars.

I heard the closest tower is in santa fe I will give it another month and my company will have to swicth to Verizon because AT&T does not care about south downey residents

I've had att(cingular) for 4 years.. in downey most of all the companies have dead spots.inside my house I get three bars ounce I go out side I have fool bars. but every were else that I go I have no problem with att.. I would recomend AT&T to freinds and family

drop calls all the time. almost no reception in my room. love the plan but wish the reception is better at home.

T-mobile connection is great! I wish they had Iphone though. I heard that AT&T will upgrade its systems in the South Downey area. I will then convert to AT&T unless T-Mobile gets Iphone.

IT's a good and bad that you don't get too many bars in the city of downey. 1) if you don't get too many bars it's because there isn't many cell phone towers in the area. Which are hazardous to anyone that lives underneath them because of Radiation. If the city of downey allowed them they'll probably put them in the crappy part of downey where all the poor peepz live because the good parts would probably put up a fight. 2) It's a bad thing for the cell phone user if you don't have many bars because your phone is working twice as hard and putting out more radiation. Just be careful what you wish for, just watch out for the fake trees and fat flag poles near your home and schools if you keep on crying.

there is a dead zone for cell reception for Verizon in the city of Downey... my calls go out only when I stand on one foot and lean to the left
