there is a dead zone for cell reception for Verizon in the city of Downey... my calls go out only when I stand on one foot and lean to the left

i am noticing something very funny with Verizon at home. I have 3 signal bars most of the time, then all of a sudden while I am in the middle of a call, it will drop the signal and go to analog. then no signal for a good 2-3 mins. maybe a lot of interference in the area.
