Very Very Bad reception. Unacceptable.

Reception use to be okay. Now I can't even use the phone (voice), very frustrating. Don't get AT&T if you live on the southwest area of Dublin, you'll be sorry. I'm going to try Verison when my contract is up. When I report to AT&T they attempt to troubleshoot even though other AT&T users have the same problem with different phones. It doesn't even make a difference if I go outside. 97% USA coverage, I say bull, don't fall for it.

I lived here for 2 years from 2008-2010, and Reception from AT&T is just great. Never had any issues or call drop outs. Same with my work location 94588 ( Owens Dr. and Hacienda Dr. in Pleasanton, CA)

Cell phone towers in the area have been knocked out. No service for texting or 3G for the past 2 days.

3rd floor apartment. ATT service is absolute useless garbage. Alternates between no service, searching, and 1-3 bars without even leaving my seat. Usually on 1 bar which is basically useless for having an audible conversation. Going outside or near a window does nothing. Going up to the unenclosed 4th floor of the parking structure doesn't help either. The phone and service is otherwise great outside of this area. Now just impatiently waiting on the ATT 3G Microcell to roll out in Dublin or for the iPhone / ATT exclusivity agreement to expire so I can go to Verizon.

more dropped calls than a daytime hooker

For Cellular One, West Dublin is hit-or-miss on good reception. Just before Nielsen School the signal drops, picks up along Silvergate then as you drive west into the hills the signal drops off.

I will be lucky if I have 1-bar at home. Move the phone from the coffee table to the ear and you can loose the only bar that you have. Occasionally works in one corner of the house, albeit with lousy quaility. I am unable to use my cell phone at home.

Everywhere in Dublin... Great recpetion. Even a Windamere where my work Nextel chokes. Same with Stondirge Mall..notorious for eating all reception. Sprint works great here.

During business hours, signal drops, weak signal during day, bit strong evening and night time. Signal on 580 / 680 no problem.

I just bought a T-Mobile blackberry 7100 and the reception sucks. I get between 1 and 3 bars everywhere I go. I went to Gilroy today and it went to no bars allot. the worst thing is that my metro PCS service had 3 -5 bars the entire day. I cant believe that metro which we always called ghettro, get better reception. metro works everywhere I have traveled. whether I am in the mall or at the office in pleasanton, at my parents house on morgan drive off bollinger up where most carriers dont work.

I must be lucky, because my cell signal has always been good in and around Dublin. I can't think of any time along the 680 corridor between san jose and san ramon that I didn't get a good signal.

Reception has fallen off from 3 or 4 bars to "No Service" in many areas around the SF Bay. Friends in Woodland Hills in SoCal, on the same plan, have also seen a dramatic loss of coverage since Cingular took over AT&T. The phone has become practically useless, and this after sticking with the old service and network from Cellular One, which became AT&T, and finally Cingular. The old network had the best coverage with o bells and whistles, but under Cingular, no bells, whistles, or coverage. Just criminal!

My reception is great at my place. Driving to and from Dublin -> San Ramon -> Danville my signal drops down to 3-4 bars. As soon as I drive to my cousins place (1 stop light down) at Willow Creek and Dougherty, i'm lucky to get 1 bar. She has Verizon, and she gets crap signal at her place also.

Cell phone drops calls and loses signal.

This area is awful. You have to find a spot and leave your phone there or lose every call. Walking or driving around the developments here cause all calls to be dropped.

This phone worked fine before I moved to this place, but now it sucks. Not sure which carrier works well in this area.
