Almost useless. Unreliable signal at home. At work (Balboa-92123 zip code) I hear other cell phones going off all day, but I get no signal. I don't know what other people have, but it must not be AT&T. The only time this phone is any good to me is on the drive between home and work, and even then I get dropped calls.

Good coverage in my house, full 5 bars on 3G. I have rarely no issues around the city, and going to LA.

I generally get 1 to 2 bars on the EDGE network. internet functions slowly and is spotty, right along with the reception. I wish there were a tower in harbo!

My phone does not work at all in my house, but I can sit outside in a chair and not move and I can get "ok" reception. The reception only gets better once I get on Fletcher Parkway, but is terrible in Fletcher Hills.

Have Cingular TDMA service (formerly ATT), and I can use it in only one room in my house, if I keep perfectly still. I have my cell phone chair. I had switched to the more modern GSM service with a Sanyo phone and I got zero service at my house, and lousy service throughout Southern Calif. With GSM, I could not use it in a moving car, as the signal would drop consistently while driving. So I switched back to the much more reliable TDMA service. Other than my house, it actually gets excellent reception around San Diego, LA, Colorado and wherever I travel around the US. I'll stick with it until I'm convinced GSM service has improved.
