Reception sucks. No indoor and outdoor. Would have to go to street to make phone call. Used to have 4 bars and 2 bars indoor.

I live at the top of a hill and still only get one bar. I find the signal to be about two bars on average in El Segundo. What happened? Two years ago the signal was good 4-5 bars.

Reception is terrible. I drive between LA, Orange County and San Diego on a regular basis, and I always drop out of my phone calls at least 2-3 times a leg each way (if not more). I also recently stayed at the Marriott Laguna Cliffs Resort and Spa... no reception there. Even the staff there confirmed it. You would think that the alleged "largest cell phone network in the country" would have zero problems with reception. It's not even like I am calling from deep inside a cave or something. AT&T should either fix the problem or credit me for my lost calls because I signed up and pay for continuous and not spotty service. My colleagues that sport Verizon or T-Mobile phone service plans all claim better reception. Maybe it's time to make the switch.

I don't know what happened. I used to be able to call easily. Suddenly I have no reception. Calls cut out in seconds. No where in the apartment where it works. What is the point of having a phone if you can only use it in your CAR? Although...my iphone is my most beloved piece of technology. Isn't Apple shoving off from ATT soon?

No reception inside condo complex. Poor reception outside. Lots of drop call. Neighbor has AT&T and has no issues in building or out. Also no data plan problems with AT&T. Verizon is no good in El Segundo CA, AT ALL!

Good reception in my 11th-floor cubicle. Underground parking garage is a lot less reliable though.

My home is near Eucalyptus and Maple. When I first moved to ES I discovered I had bad reception. Since my office was in MDR and I am never home this was not a big issue. Now I have moved my office here and IT SUCKS that I pay $160 / mo and cannot use my phone. I called Verizon and they did a survey. The survey confirmed the poor reception and they did not know if or when any new towers were going up to correct this problem. They have a policy that states that if they cannot provide superior service they will let you out of your contract. After reading all these comments my question now is: WHERE???????

It could be because of the DirecTV / Raytheon / Boeing buildings, parking garages, and the elevated Freeway, and right next to LAX. But service could be better here..

Very poor / no reception in the 500-600 block of W. Acacia. I've called Verizon wireless and they were of no help. Calls either drop completely, can't connect at all, or functions minimally in analog mode.
