Shows 4-5 most of the time at home; sometimes dipping down to 1. The other person's voice often is very choppy, and some dropped calls. Sometimes the person can not hear me. Get voicemails with no ring at times. The reception has gotten worse, it seems, lately. I am starting to give some of my clients my land-line number, even though I did not want to do this. If I call people back on my land-line, there is almost always a good connection, so I know it is not their phone or service. Service quality is erratic. Can't seem to find a consistant sweet spot in my home. Maybe it depends on the breeze. Had an LG flip-phone on Verizon many years ago, while living at this same location. I don't remember having this many problems with it, and the sound quality was better, too, I think.

Used to not get any reception in my office. Since the merger with AT&T, I'm getting a full signal. Didn't think it'd be that drastic of a change.

Great reception here. Have had good service with Verizon, except some hotspots like Orinda or on campus at UC Santa Cruz.

Verizon coverage in house is quite good, though the 3G sometimes does not work. No phone dead zones in house, but customer service in recent months has been HORRIBLE, so I am looking around.

3 yrs with vzw. great to decent reception in most places, although inside thick walled old building around Harrison and 20th Sts, had very spotty reception, even outside -with the 120c. the LG seems to maybe be getting a stronger signal. Here at home, over bay bridge, richmond bridge and through Marin, I found the coverage to be great - equal to the t-mo phone I'm currently testing out. Stafford Lake in Novato had no coverage on either. vzw phone said it had a couple of bars, but it never actually connected when I tried to check my vmail. today vzw dropped a call on Northgate at W Grand Ave, drove back that way with T-Mo and no drop. also vzw gets ok reception on Long Island and in NJ, although not so great indoors - generally need to stand near a window or go outside. this has been improving lately though.

I've only had t-mo for a few days, but here at home, over bay bridge, richmond bridge and through Marin, I found the coverage to be great - equal to or slightly better than my Verizon phone. Stafford Lake in Novato had no coverage. vzw phone said it had a couple of bars, but it never actually connected when I tried to check my vmail. today vzw dropped a call on Northgate at W Grand Ave, drove back that way with T-Mo and no drop.

Very poor connection in Emeryville, East of the overpass. Two bars at the most, more often one bar. Frequent dropped calls, sound is broken and garbled. Frequently, my phone does not ring, and messages arrive days later, if at all. Sometimes hard to make calls because of dropped numbers as I dial. Very sorry to see that Verizon is one of the better carriers for this area. Must just be a dead- or near dead- spot where nobody does very well. Too bad, because I try to use my cell as my business phone. Guess I'd better keep my land line.
