I live in a gated community basically in the middle of nowhere off centre city parkway north of el norte parkway and I get awesome service! even in my area I get 5 bars. Once, I forgot my power cord up in LA and thought I'd run out of battery juice over the weekend. NOPE. my battery lasted 2 days (we know how battery drains when it's searching for service)

I recently switched to AT&T and my cell reception improved dramatically. I live near an avocado grove and since they are planted on hills it negatively impacts my reception. Much better now, but not great.

Reception at home is pretty bad, but I use my land line for calls at home. Once I leave the house, reception is great overall. It's nice being able to use Cingular's network for free when ATT's network isn't availible. I signed up using ATT because Cingular's phones sucked.

I feel like I'm in a black hole of reception coverage. My phone usually has 1 or 2 bars. Some locations in or around the house give me 3 bars, but not steady.

Rarely ever get more than one bar of signal in my house, and I've never seen any more than three bars in Escondido. So much for Verizon having "more reception", AT&T almost always has full signal wherever we travel.

It SUCKS, I complained and got a AIR WAVE and it still doesn't work worth a damn. They have blamed everything i.e. Sky is blue, your house has a roof, and you sleep on the bed so it is not working. I made a mistake of transfering all my business phones to Sprint at the same time and now they want to charge me $600.00 to get out of a 2 year contract. I haven't recieved a single months worth of decent service and these A**Holes want money to cancel a contract. I want all these pricks to burn in hell. Especally that D***Bag CEO Dan that walks around in black &white commericals bragging about this lousy service. I hope his family catches on fire and his phone drops the call when he call 911.

Very rare to get a signal at my house. In fact, there are often several cars parked 2.5 miles away at the intersection of hwy 78 and Cloverdale Road, they are all Verizon users that know they are going to drop the call if they enter into rancho San Pasqual

T-Mobile was not the answer I was looking for to replace my Verizon service of 5 years. Not only did my reception not improve while at home, but I have experienced many, many more dropped calls when calling from other areas in San Diego County. My daughter has to stand outside my house to send and receive calls with her Cingular cell service, and I see many of my neighbors standing outside making calls, so the area is definitely a blind spot for cell service. What's the answer - move.

One bar at the most while inside. Frequently have no reception at all. MANY dropped calls when I do by the grace of God connect with someone. 2 bars at the most while outside, still alot of dropped calls. It seems as if it's gotten progessively worse over time.

Optimal reception from San Diego proper to L.A. with the exception being where I live. The No Signal (Searching...), dropped calls and consistent cutting in and out of "successful" calls (both incoming and outgoing) finally drove this two cell phone-only household to throw in the towel and get a land line. Now when I give out my cell number it's always with the caveat that if someone wants to reach me in the evening or on the weekend, try my land line first.

We bought these phones because we were having problems with dropped calls from other services and were told that Verizon was a great service with great reception. We have no reception at our home in Hidden Meadows and they say they won't let them put up an antenna there. Our son has Cingular and Nextel and has no problem with his reception. We will be changing services as soon as this contract is over!
