No reception with T-Mobile in our yard. I drive up north to Sonora Calif and get no reception. Dropped calls always. I am changing to Verizon and hope for improvement.
Ive had all the carriers b / 4 my wife had Verizon, my parents have AT&T, They all have problems with drop calls from Fallbrook to S.D. I have not even lost any service, I have moved from Washington (state not the province) I have been with Qwest for over 10 years now but it saddens me that Qwest is not in California, Nothing I can do about it just have to keep the service.
Moving on to another provider. Zero reception at home more often than not. I communte between N. SD County and OC every day, and almost never have calls I end myself. I thought myself the dropped call king until reading through this site. Yikes!
Always had problems with Sprint PCS. New Verizon works absolutely great! No drops from Fallbrook all the way north to LA. Terrific broadband PCS wireless computer connection, too, no drops for 100 miles going north.
Hard to believe that the inventor of CDMA technology is / was from San Diego. Hopefully he stuck with ANY provider other than Cingular. I have had contracts with Nextel, AT&T, Verizon and now Cingular (a repeat of a past mistake; albiet from their purchase of AT&T). Reception is very poor in most areas or, if it is good, it is VERY short lived and most of my calls are completed involuntarily. Funny thing is, they don't tell you that in the contract... or do they?
