One bar most of the time. Call drops often and the other side cannot hear what I am saying at times. Considering switching to Verizon but don’t know if they are any better for this area.

Horrible signal reception. Recently moved to CA. Everyone I talk to complains of my poor signal. The maximum I get is one bar on the signal strength meter.

Horrific reception. I call my 87 year old mother on a daily basis – she has a landline phone 4.3 miles from me. Calls to / from her are dropped 75%-80% of the time. Sprint had me perform an online service upgrade, no help. They want me to have my iPhone 6 Plus checked for problems. Guess what? The same phone used to run AT&T with fewer issues (though not perfect by any means). Current reception is at -110dB in the middle of a Silicon Valley city with 233K people. I *hate* paying a monthly fee for cell phone service that's worse than transcontinental wired service from the 1920's.

I have had AT and T phones for over 30 years, now waiting for my contract to be over and I will not be a customer of AT&T again. I have 2 separate phones and numbers with them... they are not concerned that I can not use either of those phones at my business out of home. Why should I have to buy a microcell???

Verizon service used to be very nice until a few months back. I have lot of dropped calls and people on the receiving end of the call are not able hear my side of the conversation. My daughter is in UCLA and all over the campus she has undelivered texts and dropped calls. She even missed her job interview related texts. Four years ago I had the same problem with Sprint and so after breaking the Spring contract and paying penalty we switched to Verizon

We have experienced dropped calls, poor reception, inaudible voices that cut in and out, lots of static, text messages not received by recipient. We used to get great reception, but in the last year, the reception has gotten worse and worse.

Verizon drops most of the calls I receive or make from my house in Fremont, CA. I complained to Verizon. They investigated and confirmed the issue with coverage, however their solution was for me to buy and extender rather then for them to fix the coverage. Not only I would need to pay for extender out of my own pocket, but other people would be able to use this extender and thus use my Internet connection. This does not make any sense at all! By the way, I live in a densely populated area so many people must be affected by lack of coverage.
