Since the merge to Cingular I've had more dropped calls than I've never had since I've been with AT&T beginning 1996. Most recently, I'm now experiencing my calls going straight to voicemail for no apparent reason. I called 611 and they said it is a known issue and they are working to fix the problem. My reception has also worsened, half of the time the calls get broken up to where I can only hear like every 5th word when using my phone. It sucks!

I had perfect reception until At&T was bought out by cingular. I drop calls at least 3 times a day. At my home I get no service and when I am in my car I get 1 to 3 bars, that's it. I contacted Cingular and they told me that Cingular increased their SIM chip size for better reception and as long as I stay with AT&T I will get lousy reception.

I like AT&T I hope still have same reception once it becomes Cingular.

Very poor reception a few blocks North of Maple and Nees. When I'm in the house, where my business is, I drop calls all the time. I've tried AT&T and T-Mobile and there no better. Thats with four different phones and not the free ones.

I'm tired of no reception, dropped calls, system malfunction, etc. I hate ATT and Sony Ericsson.

I have always had service throughout Fresno. It may get down to 1-2 bars but always works. I may lose reception or drop a call once in awhile while heading through Madera or to Prather.

I had great reception until last Friday, 8/6/04. Since then, my phone has emergency service only until I get a few blocks awayin any direction. Then, the coverage goes back up to between 3 and 5 blocks throughout the rest of the city.

Great reception everywhere. Even got a signal on Half Dome in Yosemite.
