	AT&T TDMA is pretty good in these rural areas but their GSM fails completely. With TDMA I get a up to 2 or three bars only in a couple short stretches of road on Cavedale and it's in and out around town (plenty of dropped calls). With GSM it was terrible, totally useless really. I'm switching to Verizon after seeing my friend's reception in these same areas, never less than 2 bars, he can talk with out stoping his car in "just he right spot" (which is never where your car breaks down). Cingluar got no signal in these areas (except Sonoma around town, poor signal anyway). Nextel gets a similar signal strengh as Verizon, but their plans are much more expensive. Sprint was also useless in these areas except right in down town Sonoma. (> means "better than") Verizon > Nextel > AT&T TDMA > Cingular > AT&T GSM > Sprint.
