A few dropped calls now and then, but I'm mostly satisfied with my coverage so far. Apparently I live close to two towers, which are both down today, unfortunately, but I think that has more to do with the power outages we had last night than AT&T.

My reception is usually fine. I get 3-4 bars from inside my mobile home, and 5 if I go outside. I almost never have dropped calls.

i consistently get 2 bars at home when many of my friends don't get any. there are some sketchy spots along foothill and bennett that I know of, but it rarely completely drops the call. where I am, i'm fine. from what I can tell, i'm just lucky to get anything regular in this area.

I have try a Iphone 3g, Blackberry Curve, Palm, Nokia and they were all DEAD no signal what so ever, call costumer service after putting out 10 ref. tickets and countles calls to technical service a ****** ***** told me to go outside my house to make and recieve calls... . went to my local AT&T (San Dimas ) store and got me a hook-up, it turns out that ATT only have ONE TOWER for servicing the Glendora Area, all the coverage maps that they show us on the internet are RUBBISH! therefor DONT BELIEVE everything that you read on the ATT OFFCIAL WEBPAGE (in regards to coveragE!) any how... so after talking to "a friend" turns out that "Samsung" phones have a little bit more luck in the Glendora Area... . *hint* after having no service what so ever... now I have 2 bars... good enought to make and recieve phone calls with o having to go outside my house... . -__-"

Most messages and phone calls are delayed (anywhere from 5 minutes to hours later, often AFTER I leave the house). If a miracle should happen and my phone rings while in the house, nobody can hear anybody so I have to run outside where I might get 1-2 bars on a clear day. Usually difficult to hear and I shout "call me on the house phone!" or just hang up and call them. To send a text message, I have to leave the phone on a south-facing window sill for 10-30 seconds to pick up a signal. AT&T has been made aware of the horrible services over and over again (every time I call) but 6 years now and nothing has changed. Leaving for T-Mobile whose phones / service actually work INSIDE my home!

It's been years now that Verizon has a known no reception area in North Glendora yet to this date, they are still "trying" to get that rectified. It appears they need to get city approval for a tower and two sites, one on Lorraine and Sierra Madre Ave (water dept yard) and the other on Leadora at the San Jose Wash, Oakwood Ave. Both locations are Glendora City owned properties and require approval processes. Some of the residents appear to be against a nicely enhanced pine tree look tower fearing "take away my view". Both of these locations as they are now have nothing nice about them and have old structures and power poles with large transformers handing upon them. I recon the view is in need of redecorating as a new "pine tree" won't hurt with what's there now. Anything would be an enhancement to those locations and the cell tower at Carrol and Washington has no one complaining so it seems. I don't particularly envy the idea of cell towers being the best method to connect however, this is the technology they are investing in so, we do need another tower in North Glendora to fix the many signal issues for about half the residents of Glendora and all of the visitors in North Glendora ranging from plumbers, electricians, home service and repair companies, cable tech's etc. All of them use cell phones and the signals in this area needs help. City of Glendora, if you see this post, how about helping Verizon out and focus on a solution. Maybe a newly designed "tree" that looks more like a tree would help those who oppose a want a be tree design.

The area between Glendora Ave. and Loraine Ave. north of Route 66 is a dead zone for both Verizon and Sprint.
