Used to have an older model Samsung flip phone (att account ) that worked, calls and texting, most of the time. Replaced with a Samsung / Windows smarter phone 6 mos. ago. Worked great until it didn't. I.e., no cell signal began happening more frequently 2 months ago. I can get online but no cell signal. Very frustrating.

Prior to new 3G Blackberry got at least 3 bars, now 0 is likely and 1 is doing great.

AT&T get no bars at my house but a week after we got a new 2 year plan I found out that Verizon now has a tower in the area. Verizon has great coverage at my house but we are stuck with AT&T for 13 more months because it would cost too much to get out of the contract. If I need to use my cell because the land line is out I have to go to the Safeway parking lot.

No Onstar in Guerneville period. ATT will work in town but as Onstar is Verizon, I imagine Verizon customers are out of luck also.

GSM reception is 0-1 bars in Guerneville. It's only possible to make a call in the Safeway parking lot. You have to go all the way to Hwy. 101 and then reception is 3-5 bars.

The service anywhere west of the 101 north of Petaluma... beyond the 3 mile tower reception there are pockets from Two Rock to the coast all the way north as far as I have been. the road home from Santa Rosa to Guerneville are broken and no service from Miribelle out through Forrestville. Also in Lake County..HiddenVally Lake... seems no one has reaonable service. Every time the phone finds service, it is either digital roam, or not available to non customers during peak hours. I have a tower from San Francisco pick me up and charge me while in my service area in Santa Rosa, but nothinh in my town... I am changing.

The coast-to-coast walkie talkie service does not work within 10 miles.

There is no reception at all in Guerneville. Forestville, just down the road, has a little bit of coverage - 1 bar, sometimes switching to analog - but nothing at all in Guerneville, despite the number of vacation homes and resorts here. As soon as I can get out of my contract I'm gone.

There is not a spec of reception for about a 5-10 mile radius around Guerneville, CA.

Between aprox 1 am and 5 am it is very difficult if not impossible, to make or recieve calls. Iif you are on-call for a hospital or other organization that needs to be able to reach you the service has recently become unreliable. ATT says that it is because the call volume is so high at that time of day. At other times of day service is pretty good, so it appears that everyone gets up in the middle of the night to make their calls. The service is unreliable between the hours mentioned above.
