I live in the hillside just above 7th Street. Verizon provides the strongest signal to house when compared to my secondary carrier I use, Cingular.

I have lost of problem with Cingular reception since february. The problem is not with how many bars I get on the signal strength, instead, it's with people not hearing my talking. Whenever someone calls me or I call someone, the other party cannot hear me but I can hear him. Sometimes, the other party hears me at first, then in the middle of the conversation (after talking for about 1-2 minutes), the person won't be able to hear me. It has jeapardized my life a great deal. At first, I thought the phone model was the culprit. I have tried all brands (Motorolla V400, V551, Samsung, and Nokia), the problem is still there. It is very frustrating.

Lived here for a year before just recently moving and got great reception. Even indoors. Moved to Fullerton 92833 and I now live in a black hole. :(

Good for short conversations. I need to go outside of house to avoid dropped calls. I recommend prepaid for AT&T in case they get rid TDMA.

ATT has extremely bad reception in this area. I am about 1 / 2 mile northeast of Hacienda Blvd.and Colima Rd. I have a Microcell at home and still every call gets dropped, especially in the last 2 weeks (March / April 2011).

I prefer 0.5 - seriously, no reception most of the time when I'm inside the house. But, if I go outside my garage, it's turn to 2 - 3 bar, out of 5.

I have both At&T and Sprint cell phones. Neither of them get good enough reception to make or receive calls from my home. Other than the intersection of Colima and Halliburton the Sprint phone works best.

I live just above 7th Street in the hillside. After talking to Cingular customer service, I found out that the nearest cell tower is about 3-5 miles away. Cingular rates my location a 4 on their own internal scale of 1-4, 1 being the best signal strength. My connection is very unstable at my house.

I have no reception in any of my classes. im lucky if I can keep one bar for more than a 1/2 second. I switched phones thinking mine just sucked. but I still have crappy reception. It's better now butyah. T-Mobile sucks everywhere besides at glamis. Get Verizon. I have heard good things about it.

Stimson and Kiska / Colima and Stimson, Hacienda Heights, CA 91745 Thu Dec 29, 2005

Cingular is terrible in this area. They've been promising for years to add more towers, but nothing has helped. I see other people driving or walking past my house talking on their cell phones and I can only assume they don't have Cingular. I'm waiting for my contract to expire so I can change to Verizon.
