Used to be good, up until 9 months ago, just about everywhere in the county other than obvious dead zones. Since then the service has become less and less reliable. Areas that used to have great reception all the time now have one or two bars. Some areas are full strength (5 bars) part of the day, and one or two bars at random times. Dropped calls as well as incoming calls that don't ring and go straight to VM are increasingly frequent. Calls to CS (611) to find out what's up are met with a minimum 20 to 30 minute wait, IF you last that long without the call being dropped. I think it is unconsionable that they still charge the same amount yet provide increasingly less and less service. I have been told that they kept selling phones on a system that has not been expanded to accommodate the increased usage, hence, everybody gets less. I also went to their store to try and find out what's up, and overheard a number of the sales reps pushing GSM, saying that ATT was not going to be investing in TDMA anymore, which tells me they will be abandoning that at some point in the future, so, I would advise against signing up for any long term TDMA contracts, and would advise finding an exit strategy.
