I just moved in to Turtle Rock and couldn't believe that there is no reception in my house for AT&T at all. I have a home based business and always use my cell phone for my business. Now my customer is having a difficult time when they call me while I'm at home. For sure, I will loose a lot of customers because of the bad cell phone receiption. That force me to search for a new carrier. I have been AT&T customer for almost 10 years. Too Bad. AT&T should do something now. Or else AT&T will loose customers because of the bad receiption.

I live in the Palo Verde Housing area and just switched from a month of bad Sprint service (a couple of dropped calls during a 1-2 hour chat was typical) to horrid Verizon service (10+ dropped calls in one 30-minute conversation!). Sprint is actually pretty good and I'm kind of kicking myself for leaving them now. Nevertheless, they aren't great in this area, and I'm considering the big switch to AT&T, perhaps the iPhone. I've had two people with iPhones stay here for days with nary a dropped call.

AT&T just went from the worst campus service, to the best. I don't know what they did but previously (i.e. yesterday) I needed to have my phone in the window for a crummy 2 bars. Today, I can be in the ELEVATOR and have 4 / 5 bars! Amazing!

Since the Verizon site went in at Culver and Campus, we have had very good reception.

Coverage is not a problem. It's good and I'm very satisfied.

Have had Sprint and Verizon. Both have excellent in-house reception. Must have the magic spot. Is everyone updating the software regularly on their phones? I see a lot of reception problems in Woodbridge and have never had any problems driving through there.

I lived at VDCN (on the edge of VDC) and never had a problem with cell reception. My roommate on the ohter had to stand by the window to get anything (had Verizon).

Terrible reception — ATT tech support guy informs me that several new towers (3G and 2G) are being built in the area over the next few months so I will hold out on good faith... he says there is currently only one accessible 3G node in the area which would explain the spotty coverage.

drop calls always. reception fluctuates. verizon's system is inconsistent and technical service does not know what they are talking about.
