I'm on T-Mo with a iPhone 3g and always have anywhere from 4-5 bars whether I'm inside the house or outside.

I bought Iphone about 5 months ago. But now I really want to go back to verizon. Bad reception, and Drop calls in my area. If there is any one planing to get iphone, please concern about the reception. and do not buy anntenas for the iphone. I bought three different anntenas but so far, nothing works for me.

Love the iPhone - horrible reception for ATT in and around our house. Driving near on Granada is ok, however once I start to near my house on Sarco, the bars drop and I receive "No Service" inside my house. Called repeately to ATT only to hear that a local tower is down and under repair. They gave me a date of repair however that has gone and past - still no service. Had to hand in the iPhone and cancel service in order to not get locked into a 2 year contract with zero service in the house. Visited ATT store in Whittwood Mall, they confirm tower down however no ETA when fixed. They indicate when tower is up and running, signal strength should improve dramatically. Waiting it out to get another iPhone. Customer Service has been great with ATT however reception is horrible.

lots of dropped calls and no reception

Cingular, as well as T-Mobile, get little, to no reception in this area along Rosecrans. I have tried 4 different phone models and invariably drop the call. Cingular must be co-located or roaming on T-Mobile.

You know you're coming close to Biola when your cell phone reception drops in half (doesn't matter what brand according to the other students)! mostly no reception or one bar, sometime up to three. But that's deceiving. Often when have bars still can't get a good call through. More often than not, person being called can be heard, but caller is only heard in static or broken or dropped calls. When can find a golden spot the calls are crystal clear and work great - until you move your head.

Great reception with verizon. I have found that the phone makes a big difference! Friend has a LG phone cant get reception in her house (yorba linda) I get great reception there. I dont have dropped calls, no static. Great reception in my house, all areas of orange county, la county, Oregon, Canada, Hawaii everywhere. Always do your research on the phone before buying. Verizon has good customer service and good coverage in all areas that I have been in.

Reception varies in each room of house. If I stand outside near the street, the reception is fine. Northbound on La Mirada between Rosecrans Ave. and La Mirada Blvd. there is virtually no signal.

I get recption great everywhere (including in the Mtns.) but home.
