I get 1 bar reception with 3G service enabled... turning 3G off gives me 2-3 bars. To make a call without dropping or having the other party complain that they can't understand me, I have to walk out of my house and into the street. The local AT&T store rep tells me I just have to live with it and that dead zones are a limitation on the technology. Tried a 3G Microcell for $150, but I just returned it after 3 weeks due to technical problems. When it worked, I did get 5 bars, but mostly it created more problems and prevented reception of what little cell tower signal that I did get. Did I mention that I don't like AT&T?

Never had a problem with either Cingular or now with AT&T here in the desert. And the AT&T coverage is solid all the way up the coast to Seattle.

Can't use Cingular at home. Meanwhile, Verizon has three bars at home. Cingular works good most other places but am ready to switch to Verizon so I can use it at home.

I get poor choppy coverage around my house and I am ready to switch, I am not shure to which company though.
