Switched from AT&T, which averaged four dropped calls each way from Newport Beach to Laguna Beach. It was so bad I would tell people on the line which dead zone I was approaching, and sure enough, the phone would go dead. By comparison, I've had no dropped calls with Verizon on the same route, nor any other location. Why Apple chose the awful AT&T for the iPhone is a mystery. My friends with iPhones love it but hate AT&T.

I can't go to certain areas of my house, but for the most part, I can get up to 5 bars if I sit still. Walking around and talking usually ends up with a lost call though.

I barely get a signal most of the time. Three bars, at most, if I sit on the terrace. Terribly frustrating.

Constantly shows no service, drops calls, phone sometimes shows AT&T or Cingular, but no relief from lousy service.

No reception what so ever. If I do get a bar and my phone rings by the time I go to answer it I have lost service. This is horrible as this is my phone I have to have for work and I get 0 service.
