Reception often cuts in and out, as well as many a dropped call. Sometimes I don't even get my calls! However I have noticed reception improve when I go outside, just not sure in what direction...

Maintaining a consistent signal in this vortex is next to impossible. When you think you have a comfortable 3 to 4 bars of coverage, the wind blows and your call is dropped. The only thing consistent about the coverage is the dropping of calls. I know it's not just my phone. My girlfriend has a lower model motorola, and my neighbor has a nokia. All with Cingular and all lose signal strength and drop calls daily. My local Cingular store only tells me that they have better coverage than others. I have no basis for comparison, but I'm ready to believe they must be full of it. I'm going to try Sprint or Verizon's service next. My contract is up and I'm getting out. I really doubt that either of them could possibly provide worse service.

I have no reception and when I get calls they always cut out.
