I sometimes can have a complete conco with out dropping it, other times I can slam the phone against the wall! I will be on the phone and it just blanks out on me. the worse part is that it'll try to redial and it says that I'm roaming! agony!

Sprint reception bars don't matter. My wife and I get multiple dropped calls per day!, even when at 5 bars. Multipppple calls striaght to voice mail. We are always having to repeat what we say - sound quality is horrible. Even happens when we call Sprint customer service - their solution was to say that our 1 year old phones were too old - LOL. Dropped calls happen all over Los Angeles / Santa Monica - so it's not a location / tower problem. We are sorry we ever switched to Sprint. The quality of the voice is horrible - sounds like we're talking over tin cans. I borrowed someones phone (Verizon service), and it sounded so clear. We cannot wait to switch back to Verizon.

T-Mobile has taken a nose dive in the last few months. It's gotten so bad that my mobile has become completely useless. One out of two calls don't even make it to my phone and I get a 'missed call' notification a few minutes later. A majority of the calls I get drop within the first 5 minutes, causing me having to call people back - and you know how it goes - they try to call you back at the same time - both leave a voicemail - huge waste of time. I feel like the boiling frog - it's gotten so bad gradually that I wonder why the heck I even bother to pay for such shabby service, completely defeats the purpose of having a mobile phone in the first place. I can't remember the last time I had a problem free call - stay away from T-Mobile - huge waste of time and money.

I used to have a great time with T-Mobile and the customer service really is outstanding, but I can hardly get any of my calls over the last few months and have switched phones 2x hoping for improvement. add to this the fact that someone was calling me from an international # and it got cut off and I had to call back and talking to him for under 30 seconds on the phone to give him my other phone to call cost me $30... and I'm ready to switch even if I have to get a new phone #

My call service at home is abysmal. It's definitely the location because I switched from Cingular which was even worse. I have also tried several different phone models with varying success. The best combo has actually been my Black Berry on T-Mobile that I use for work. On my Treo the call quality is bad during rush hour and somewhat better late at night and on the weekend. It stinks because my only phone is my cell. Lots of dropped calls from this location. Otherwise both phone and service have been good in LA. I usually have bars when others don't. I guess this is just one of those lucky spots with bad service.

I get no reception with VX6000 at my home, but then again none of my friends with different service get reception either. I also have a home in Palm Springs and originally got Average reception at my home in Palm Springs, but that has changed to Poor or No Reception.

Reception is great. Once I went to the Verizon store to get a connector cable and the "service" was so laughably horrible that I swore I'd move to another carrier as soon as I could.

The room I was renting had parts of some walls made of concrete. The reception would fade in and out if I moved around. It wasn't easy to find a perfect spot to stay in to have a long, frustration-free conversation.

We have Sprint--good quality reception. Unfortunately, the customer service is terrible. Truly, truly terrible. We've had tons of problems with fraud, and Sprint has been awful about resolving our issues. We've wasted countless hours on hold with Sprint, and are frequently disconnected. We have been with Sprint for one year and we still have one more year left on our contract. We'll come back here hoping to find that others have good quality reception on Beachwood (north of Franklin) from another provider. If you do, please post!

well folks--here is the real lowdown! Sprint does really suck it is a good company good reputation--however when I called and expalined to Sprint that I had poor to zero service at my house I was told--"we do not guarantee that your phone will work in your house" so I say--what company who spends countless millions of dollars worldwide on advertising and maketing to promote their product as the best---well, I do not think it is necessary anymore---i am not blaming the representative with whom I spoke---but I do blame and hold at fault the Sprint company for poor customer relations and miserable service to the consumer
