Cingular has the worse record for dropped calls and bad reception. I've had my phone from 2002 and I've always had problems. And Cingular says they have the least dropped calls. That's a joke!

Pretty much every time I am on Highland starting from about Willoughby going south to about 3rd street I have no reception or if I am on a call, the call is dropped. I also have very poor, if any reception on my block, the 800 block of Cherokee (North of Melrose, east of Highland). I find this very ironic considering that up until a couple of weeks ago there was a huge Verizon billboard at Melrose and Highland touting the "great" coverage. I can't wait to switch at the end of the year to a better network.

"I'm only a few blocks up from Franklin on N. Beachwood Dr.and I get almost no reception. I CANNOT initiate any phonecalls unless I go out to the street, and even then the calls are very spotty. I may receive a call at home, but it is NEVER clean, almost always cuts off, and a pain to stand still like a "statue" when you finally find that "spot" where reception seems to be best." bump on this, T-Mobile SUCKS in the canyon... .all my best girlfriends get perfect Verizon reception tho... fix ur shiit t-mobile!

had to switch from Cingular to Verizon, after moving to Los Feliz. Verizon has best coverage in the area of town, hands down.

In my house I get one to two bars but it means nothing, I cant even keep up a conversation for 5 minutes without having my calls dropped. So now whenever I need to make a call I have to walk outside of my house to find a decent spot for reception but its to no avail... in a few minutes I lose my call.

I get the worst reception I have ever had for a cell phone in certain spots in my house. When I open the phone I see five bars... until I make a call, then it drops to one bar and of course that means zip, zero, zilch nada, no reception. Reception in the downtown LA area is great.

I get 1 or 2 bar inside, 3 if I find a good spot. But in most rooms I stay around 1. Sometimes I'll have none. It's not much better outside either. I've had a few drop calls when outside, more inside, and really bad reception. My friends with T-Mobile get much better reception than I do

It makes me laugh to see some Sprint employee must have left the note dated Nov. 15, 2005 that says the coverage is "good" in this area. Calls are constantly dropped or won't go through. Reception bars vacillate from 0-1, both north and south of Pico. All in all since the Nextel Merge Sprint coverage in Los Angeles has plummeted--many dropped calls. Coverage used to be OK in LA-I have been with them for 4 years- but now coverage.."hello?" 'Hello?" "did I lose you?"... you get the idea. Customer service are useless liars. Go with Verizon in LA. Friends with Verizon report good service throughout LA area.
